National Hurricane Center Forecast

This forecast, issued Wednesday morning, will be updated periodically. It shows Hurricane Irene heading northwards along the East Coast of the US, hitting North Carolina Saturday, then then Virgina, Pennsylvania and NY Sunday and into Canada Monday.

She is predicted to miss Florida and Georgia entirely.
